Wow man, why'd you stop posting? I just found you and I'm telling you i have been looking for this video pretty much since the M chips first hit the seen lol!! I'm looking to buy either an m1 max or m2 and i just really want to see the machine do the stuff that i want to do before shelling out all that cash! Thank you for taking your time and going through all the things! Magic mask... check! 3d camera tracking... check! Fusion particle node trees... check! This is s great presentation of what you can expect from an m1 max in DaVinci fusion page! I know I'm late to the party but this was very helpful and I'm grateful! I'll probably buy renewed (that's the only way i can afford such a speced out machine lol), but I'm still looking at spending over $2,000 and it feels great to see that the thing can actually do what I'm buying it for! Thanks my man! Just subbed so look forward to seeing your next video!

I am doing this right now with a matte node in fusion. Works for me better. But the result is still not perfect

For a channel named “Filmmaker Central”, that’s some pretty awful picture quality. The main subject isn’t even in focus.

This is the EXACT tutorial I was looking for! LIKED and SUBSCRIBED! One question, instead of adjusting the Matte Threshold to eliminate the background bleed over, could you instead draw a Matte over the monitors to accomplish that? Would a Matte (or even a Mask) be a better option for stationary objects? Thank you!

Using the studio version, can you do the same with magic mask?

I have 2 issues going on (1) When i open DaVinci 19 it always reverts to the computer speaker instead of Realtec. (2) Audio plays fine, but suddenly audio disappears but the levels keep moving.. have to reboot to make it work again. Sometimes twice. Any ideas?

Thanks Kerry, this is exactly what I needed to make my RUclips Intro. I was struggling big time as I'm new to Davinci Resolve. I was firstly making my travelling car go along a polyline, as a brush image, but once I changed to using your merge and angle method it finally made sense and my little house car moved along the rolling hills. Hi there, nice video with great info, thanks. Would you happen to know if that Deity C21 3.5mm to USB-C cable works with a Tentacle Sync-E to Osmo Action 4? I don't see any reason it wouldn't as it should just provide an Audio out to Mono L signal to the dii but I wondered if you had tried it. Thanks again!

hi, can you tell me if there is something similar to Canva's bulk creation within Davinci Resolve? In practice I would like to create a template for the videos, with the text areas and the various effects, then the program automatically takes the text to insert into the various fields from a table. Is this possible or do I have to use Canva or a similar tool?

Thank you so much... but for Mac OS users: Go to fusion window, click shift + space, and type "Luma Key (LKy)", (en español se encuentra como "compositor por luminancia" que tambien puede encontrarse escribiendo solo "LKy") Thats it, the video explains very well the steps to use it.

I have found that with morning video shoots while yawing @ certain angles to the sun that the 50 hz antiflicker setting removes some of the light reflection of the propeller blades in the video. This can be very effective setting while auto does not seem to work.

If you have time for one more video for this channel it might be Resolve 19 beta and 18 at the same time - basically just reworking / confirming this video with the new players. Good stuff - thanks for sharing!

There’s a lot of DaVinci clean plate tutorials on RUclips. And they are pretty good. However I keep returning to your Clean Plate video to get the basics of clean plate and how to QUICKLY set it up - and not get overwhelmed. Yes there are some important fine tuning that the other videos go over, but by starting with your method I can go in and perhaps add those other “fancy” tweaks later, if needed. So thanks again. I recently purchased this tripod. My last tripod was a Gitzo (not sure of model, but it had the horizontal arm like the VEO3t), it was expensive, heavier and not as well executed as this Vanguard. I’m really impressed with this tripod. The rotating center column is very well designed and engineered. The whole thing is solid too. It’s not light enough for long hikes and vacations - but it is portable and packable for short hikes and perfect for macro work. Superb concept. Thoroughly recommended.
